TRIBU-TE SHOW

Théâtre la Cigale - Paris

La Cigale theatre, one of the greatest venues of the Parisian music scene, opened its doors on 13th September for the Tribu-te Show as an offshoot of the MCB at Porte de Versailles. This 3rd edition clearly illustrated that the Show is has imposed a presence, becoming a reference in a format that differs from regular professional shows. Recognition index: we no longer bother to count the many English-speakers, Korean, Japanese, Hungarians, Mexicans, Italians, Spaniards, Brits and more nationalities after the predominantly French attendance of the last two years ...

The room was packed! These signs bode well for next year's show with perhaps a new stage to meet the Tribu-te Show's growing success, its technical and artistic ambitions and its deliberately wide scope focusing on the exceptional and the high-end.

Charlie Miller

Side by side, Jason and India Miller inaugurated these two hours of pure hairdressing. He played with straightening irons on a long-haired brunette that he quickly shortened. She created a very romantic look with small irregular balls in coloured and tousled hair proving that they are indeed worthy heirs of Charlie Miller.
Tim Hartley was next. He has created his own signature after a long career with Sassoon and once again blurred the lines between fashion and hairstyle with a half-straight, half-curly demonstration.

Christophe Gaillet, Haute Coiffure Française's ambassador to the world, literally built two very elaborated styles in front of our very eyes. They demonstrated his global inspirations and were a reflection of the rich cultural influences of his travels.
Mark Hayes, international creative director for Sassoon (special guest in the last edition of Tribu-te Mag) "dissected" his last style on a blond model before her "brunette symmetrical half" appeared from backstage: technique, shape and balance!

Finally, Angelo Seminara, or the "Genius" as Trevor Sorbie likes to call him and who was his assistant for the occasion (to his clearly visible great pleasure!). This genius managed quite simply to transport the audience into a world that cannot be translated into words, a world where after hair and tools, all that is left is a scale of surprises leading to a crescendo of pure emotion. A crowning moment in front of an astounded audience!
Many thanks go to Mondial Coiffure Beauté and Great Lengths for their support.
