History
In 1958, when he was still very young, Pepe Botella opened his first bridal business
in the centre of Alicante.
Thanks to his drive and continual trips to Italy in search of the trends of the time,
he managed to position his designs as innovative and elegant, increasing his clientele
and targeting an increasingly more demanding public.

In 1980 he launched his first
collection under the signature of Pepe Botella and his designs caught the eye of everyone.
Since then he has worked with a clear objective, which is very simple to explain but is
difficult to accomplish: to surpass, with every new collection, the design and creativity
of the previous one. He achieves this with the help of his daughter, Lucfa Botella, the
current brand designer, who affords freshness to the designs. Experience and innovation
work hand in hand.
At the moment he enjoys enormous acceptance in the European market and in Latin America,
and his next challenge is to break into New York and dress American brides. To this end he
will continue to contribute to dressing one of a woman's most important days in beauty and elegance.
"LOVE SONGS"
"Love Songs" is the new collection by Pepe Botella, a tribute to the great female
vocalists of the history of music. A homage to emotion, desire, fury, happiness,
longing, Obsession... to the myriad nuances of love which they, more than anybody
eise, interpreted to move the world.
For the occasion, Lucia Botella uses delicate materials, albeit with great personality:
silk crepes and tulles, organzines with metal, innovative rustic fabrics pleated on
both sides; wild pleated silk or with honeycomb stitch; tulles embroidered with
sequins stones or piagets, all combined with decorations merging fabric, brooches
and sequins.

As always, ivory and natural colours call the tune. There are basically two main
lines: one, very vaporous, thanks to the use of volume-increasing rustic crepes or
fabrics and another with lines heavily marked by the use of tulles embroidered with
sequins.
Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, Billie Holiday, Mina... were chosen to make us tremble,
to move us. Love showed them its language, it gifted them with a voice... and only
they know how to sing love songs.
"Love Songs" is Lucia Botella's testimonial to them.
